President Jerry Derr called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm.

Earl Garfoot led the Pledge of Allegiance.

The DCTA provided Earl Garfoot with a Certificate of Recognition for 24 yrs of service.

Introduction of Guests:

Bob Salov, Eileen Bruskewitz, Pat Downing, Duane Gau, Jerry Jensen, Vern Wendt

TDR’s:

We will set up a separate meeting to discuss this issue.

Majority of towns vetoed this ordinance

Comments:

Will the study be broad enough?

Will the DCTA come up with a proposal?

We need to note our concerns, but keep moving forward in good faith.

Planning and Zoning Audit:

Zoning committee requested a spreadsheet of all 37 recommendations and to prioritize them.

It is up to the Exec Committee of the Co. Bd. to initiate an audit of County Departments. There is a budget allocation available for these audits.

Pat Anderson has put in his resignation.

See handout

Sub-committee is currently made up of:

Comments:

There should be a time limit on inspections. For example; if the property has not been inspected within 48 hours, the project can move on.

The DCTA is going to have to be proactive on moving the zoning issues forward.
